a bleak future *

It's just so depressing! =(

I'm beginning to ponder..

Is my attention span getting shorter?

Can I really handle cash well?

Will I make those ~~stupid~~ silly mistakes again?

Should I endure for another 3 more months OR should I just forgo the bonus (in December), pay the penalty fee and leave?

I keep saying I wanna go back to study. But..

Will SIM accept me?

Will I get into the course I want?
(By the way I don't even know what I want. Economics? Marketing? HR?)

UOL or RMIT?

Will I be able to handle those school-related stress well?

I hate these 3 words but I've to say, "I DON'T KNOW~"

I miss my solution advisor!
And I'm glad he's doing fine over at the Singapore's outlying island - Pulau Tekong.

Graduation! *

Part 1 - Graduation 2008

28th May 2008 marks the end of my poly's life. I guess I've made a right decision to study in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, it's probably the best teritary education I can get. The people I've met, the knowledge I've acquired, the projects that I ended up with sleepless nights, the examinations that almost drove me crazy, etc. Bits and pieces, many lessons learnt, I've really grown up!

It's great to see almost everyone again, wearing the dark blue and yellow graduation robe, waiting to go up on stage to collect our scroll. We do look like the students of Hogwarts. Heh.

To my dad and stepmom, thanks for coming down! I know the ceremony was kinda boring, but I'm really glad that both of you attended. But it's a pity that sis didn't attend, cause she just came back from Cambodia.

This is totally random! But somehow there's a little similarity. JiaWei is enlisting on 12th September, which is one day after my birthday. While JunHao is enlisting on 16th September, one day after PeiLin's birthday. Coincidentally, all my good guy friends (excluding YeowKwang, he is exempted) are enlisting in September 2008, with Marcus' on 12th too, and JunHan's one on the 9th.

Part 2 - Dinner at Shokudo

These are the people who went for the post-grad dinner at Raffles City.
Part 3 - 5 of us

Right after dinner, the rest went home except the 5 of us.
Initial plan was to have our ~~usual~~ chilling session at Marina Square's McDonalds, the place where our butt will be glued to the seat. Too bad, they closing soon. And after much hestitation, we bus-ed down to JunHan's house. No no, not staying over, he just went back to take his family's car.

1. Drove over to HweeKeng's place to take back JunHan's father's camera.

2. Sightseeing at the Red Light District (Geylang)! *cough* JunHan knows that place quite well! *cough* And an unexpected thing happened..

JunHan: "Hey, that's my neighbour's car!"
All of us just laughed out loud.

3. Drove over to Rochor to get some soyabean before heading to Mount Faber.

4. Passed by the 99 devils bend, wanted to go West Coast's McDonalds but we not sure of the way there, so we went to Taman Jurong's McDonalds instead.

Nope, we never bowl.

Witnessed them setting up for the new promotion.
5. HOME SWEET HOME! At 4am, heh.

Jurong -> Bukit Panjang -> Bukit Merah -> Serangoon

I still wanna hang out like this.

so proud of you people! CONGRATUALATIONS!

sad to say, i'm not one of them.

however, i still have a small award.

okay la, not too bad. better than nothing.

BUT, i just need 2 more points to get SILVER.

Good Friday *

i'm back people!
been ages since i last had a proper entry.

4th February; final presentation.

mixed feelings i should say.
was really glad that the presentation went smoothly.

CNY; Year of the Rat.

boring~ i rather stay at home and ~~idle~~ rest.

went out for the sake of red packets? i guess so.

near 400bucks. however, all gone to god-knows-where.
food and cabs i think. that's pretty scary huh?

apparently, i'm ignoring my new year resolutions.

Korea trip *

WARNING: long entry ahead!

sorry to keep you waiting! exactly 3 weeks since i came back from Korea.

5th November (monday)
at Changi Airport Terminal 1:

a group photo before we board the plane.

Asiana Airlines, my virgin plane ride.
not a bad experience, but not a good one either, cause my nose ran away.

6th November (tuesday)

Seoul Incheon International Airport!

first meal there.

first destination: World Cup Stadium!

i don't like ginseng!
after lunch, we headed over to the Ministry of Communications.

before checking into Lexington Hotel, we went to this nice place (is this the Namsan Park?):

checked into hotel; showered; departed for Myeongdong.

dinner before some shopping.
Myeongdong is better than BV, bought a nice bag for just SGD16.

7th November (wednesday)

we regretted tying up our hair! cause it's so difficult to sleep with a ponytail behind.
but, i have my ways. *winks*

then, it was lunch:

cause we were still early, the tour guide brought us to this place:

8th November (thursday)
2 hours bus ride to Samsung (in Suwon).
i slept all the way, and it was a good sleep, cause i had a sweet dream. =)

only 30 students get to visit Samsung, the other 10 went to some other places.

lunch was BBQ pork. awesome!

and it's the first time i like porky~ so much.
next we went to SK Telecom.
the technology over there is superb!

with the 2 pretty ladies.
at night, we went to Dongdaemun Market.

nothing much to shop leh, i prefer Myeongdong!

9th November (friday)
Information and Communications University (ICU):

our lunch, nice nice~
by then, most of us already changed to casual.
cause we don't wanna play in formal wear.

10th November (saturday)

last day in Korea!

my face was damn dry that i couldn't even smile.

yay! i got the window seat! =)

oh ya, did i mention peilin is my room mate?
she's FORTUNATE to share the room with me okay! heh heh.
but poor her, she has to tolerate my nonsense, and my singing.
i guess sometimes she really feels like slapping me. heh.

however, deep down in her heart, she still loves me. =)
