another week gone *

Hihi~ I'm back!

10th November 2008 (Monday)

Can't believe I fell sick again. KNS.
Doctor said it's viral infection and gave me 2 days MC.
Was afraid that I might just leave this world anytime, cause of this: terrifying news.

Super zzz can, looking at the number of MC I've taken, I'm very worried the company will extend my probation. Argh! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

11th November 2008 (Tuesday)

Recovering fast, so I decided to visit my mother.
I miss her.

14th November 2008 (Friday)

Finally back to my training branch! Super happy to see the both of them!

Received a surprise gift from R: Nintendo DS Lite (metallic rose).
I accepted it with a condition. Thanks but sorry.

16th November 2008 (Sunday)

I'm like coughing my lungs out. Went to see a doctor again to get a stronger cough medicine.

But before that, I met Jere for dinner.

Yay! Sweetheart's xmas gift settled.

Darling says I don't look like I'm unwell, cause I keep jumping around. LOL!

hard not to get fat *

Sorry for the lack of updates, have been working hard on weekdays and hanging out pretty much on weekends. Furthermore I'm listening to my lazy bones, heh.

This gonna be a long entry I supposed.

14th October 2008 (Tuesday)

The talk was kinda boring, but I didn't fall asleep. *proud*
Great to see some of my training mates again, though we just met on the 3rd (D&D).
Had supper at Makansutra Gluttons Bay and home sweet home.

15th October 2008 (Wednesday)

The day that decides whether can I still be a teller. I'm glad I passed the test!

18th October 2008 (Saturday)

Popped by Thomas' branch before meeting Sweetheart, DOPE! I don't mind transferring there seriously.

Went shopping with YiTing Jiejie and Ray.
Jiejie and I bought the same polka dots halter neck dress for our retro night! =)

A bonding night for all the service staff in Consumer Financial Services (CFS) department.

Outfit for that night! Retro enough?
I absolutely love the material, it's satin, comfy~

We concluded that Patrick has very girly shades.

Oh, exchanged birthday present with BFF too. Perhaps it's telepathy, we bought something starry and pinky for each other. =)

Yup, it's my first D&D, and it kinda bored me.
But I'm happy to see those PTBOs from the June batch! =)

Some branches really enthusiastic, but not my branch. They tried all means to skip it or to leave early. Haha!
So my outfit was kinda simple, just dressed like a little girl instead of wearing school uniform.

a bleak future *

It's just so depressing! =(

I'm beginning to ponder..

Is my attention span getting shorter?

Can I really handle cash well?

Will I make those ~~stupid~~ silly mistakes again?

Should I endure for another 3 more months OR should I just forgo the bonus (in December), pay the penalty fee and leave?

I keep saying I wanna go back to study. But..

Will SIM accept me?

Will I get into the course I want?
(By the way I don't even know what I want. Economics? Marketing? HR?)

UOL or RMIT?

Will I be able to handle those school-related stress well?

I hate these 3 words but I've to say, "I DON'T KNOW~"

I miss my solution advisor!
And I'm glad he's doing fine over at the Singapore's outlying island - Pulau Tekong.

September *

It's finally here, mixed feelings though.

Yesterday, first day of my favourite month, first day of the week, but something bad happened.

I actually paid out $7000 instead of $700 (all in 100 dollars bill), which caused me to have a shortage of $6300. And the worst thing is that I DIDN'T EVEN REALISE I'VE MADE THIS STUPID MISTAKE, I really don't know WHY. Lucky my CSM is smart enough, using a particular method, he suspected one transaction, called the customer, and confirmed that I've really paid out more. Thus we managed to recover the shortage.

The customer is nice, she even told my CSM when he went over to her place to collect back the $6300, "Don't blame her, ..."

Anyway, I got suspended, so won't be touching cash till end of this month I guess. I'm considered lucky already, such a huge amount, if unable to recover, I might not be able to work as teller anymore.

And a bad way to end my day is that the bus driver actually forgot to turn when he's supposed to. Super zzz lor! But it's kinda funny when some passengers actually took turn to give directions. Teamwork, haha!

Speaking of September, it will be filled with activities!

I just got back from my training branch gathering. It was GREAT!
Dinner buffet at Marina Square's Pariss, my tummy is going to explode anytime.

Round 4: salad

Round 5: cakesss
Who says there isn't such thing as a free meal? I just had one. =P

i love my job *

Have I told you people that I really like my training branch?
It just feels like a second home to me.

Everybody there are really nice, including my mentor, my impression of her changed tremendously.

Most of the customers there are regular, so I remember them, and they remember me too, which is a good thing.

The only minus point is that I need to take 3 buses to reach there.

Well, at least now I don't drag my feet to work. But I still have difficulties getting out of my bed.

And after 2 days of training, I'm finally back to branch today.
But my seat hasn't even get hot yet, I'm called to another branch for relief.
So zzz la! I even met nasty customer today, thanks to that branch which has the highest number of unreasonable customers.

I really hope I can be a permanent staff at my training branch. Shall keep my fingers crossed.

Never mind, speaking of training..

It's really nice to see most of them again!

Last day of this orientation programme thingy, we were released at 3pm, so most of us headed to the recreation room.

Wii, foosball table, table tennis, OSIM's massage chair, etc. I believe most of us enjoyed ourselves there.

And I guess we will go back to sing k. 3 hours for 10 bucks, regardless of the number of people. Good deal huh? Too bad, only for staff. Heh.

Then dinner was at Bugis's Sketches.

"Grilled beef steak (air flown) & king prawn drizzled with forest mushroom sauce on a bed of roast potato & garden greens"

Dessert: Tiramisu
Yummy-licious dinner~
But I'm 30 bucks poorer.

body weak but heart strong *

HELLO! Yours truly is back!

Last Saturday, dimsum (or timsum, up to you) buffet at Dragon Gate Restaurant..

A simple outfit with my favourite cardigan.

Situated at level 4 of HarbourFront Centre.
I received a treasure map the night before, so I've no problems when locating this restaurant!

More pok pok choy for me.

I hate spring onions, but sis loves it.
And this whole week was a little zzz.

Monday - As usual, work! But my throat almost killed me.

Tuesday - Training. It feels great to see all my training mates again. But at night I was down with fever. Lucky Cashew Medical is one of the panel doctors, so yeah, I do not have to pay for it.

Wednesday - MC.

Thursday - Worked for less than 2 hours, then I realised I haven't recover yet, so I went to see doctor and get another MC.

Friday - Work. I really love my job!

Anyway, I've already took 3 MCs this month. That's really bad lor, tsk.

Alright, that's about it. Shall have my lunch now.
