It's another week that past in a blink of an eye. Life is getting interesting, but still, tiring.

A date with HuiTing after work.

An impromptu supper date with the 2 of them.
It's hilarious how Marcus questioned WoonLan on his current love affairs.

8th November 2008 (Saturday)

Our weekly jogging session.
Sunday morning I won't be free, so changed it to Saturday instead. Luckily CSM agreed to let me off.

Spastic I know, haha!

Home sweet home after our jog and breakfast.
Napped for awhile and out I went to meet PTGF for our cheap mani+pedi at FEP. *winks*

Met Jiejie in the night.
IMM-ed, we love Daiso and Giant, don't we? Aww!
Then we cabbed back to my place. I shall save the details.

Yup, had problems finding a gift for JiaWei, so decided to make him a bento.

It's just so depressing! =(

I'm beginning to ponder..

Is my attention span getting shorter?

Can I really handle cash well?

Will I make those ~~stupid~~ silly mistakes again?

Should I endure for another 3 more months OR should I just forgo the bonus (in December), pay the penalty fee and leave?

I keep saying I wanna go back to study. But..

Will SIM accept me?

Will I get into the course I want?
(By the way I don't even know what I want. Economics? Marketing? HR?)

UOL or RMIT?

Will I be able to handle those school-related stress well?

I hate these 3 words but I've to say, "I DON'T KNOW~"

I miss my solution advisor!
And I'm glad he's doing fine over at the Singapore's outlying island - Pulau Tekong.

20 years of age gap *

Was effing pissed off this evening.
It feels so ZZZ when the bus is so crowded that it doesn't even want to stop. 4 buses okay!

After 45 minutes of waiting, I decided to walk to the earlier stop.
TMD! The crowd at the bus stop was even worst.

What's wrong with Clementi today? What's wrong with 184 today?
Hope I don't need to go Clementi for relief anymore. I rather don't earn the relief allowance.

Well, feeling irritated and stuffy, so I bought Yeo's Sugar Cane drink to cool myself down and hopped into a Hyundai Sonata. Heh.

Enough of my rantings.
I've a piece of good news here! Not really that good la, but not that bad too.

In less than a month's time, I'm gonna have a baby sister.
And I need some suggestions now.

i love my job *

Have I told you people that I really like my training branch?
It just feels like a second home to me.

Everybody there are really nice, including my mentor, my impression of her changed tremendously.

Most of the customers there are regular, so I remember them, and they remember me too, which is a good thing.

The only minus point is that I need to take 3 buses to reach there.

Well, at least now I don't drag my feet to work. But I still have difficulties getting out of my bed.

And after 2 days of training, I'm finally back to branch today.
But my seat hasn't even get hot yet, I'm called to another branch for relief.
So zzz la! I even met nasty customer today, thanks to that branch which has the highest number of unreasonable customers.

I really hope I can be a permanent staff at my training branch. Shall keep my fingers crossed.

Never mind, speaking of training..

It's really nice to see most of them again!

Last day of this orientation programme thingy, we were released at 3pm, so most of us headed to the recreation room.

Wii, foosball table, table tennis, OSIM's massage chair, etc. I believe most of us enjoyed ourselves there.

And I guess we will go back to sing k. 3 hours for 10 bucks, regardless of the number of people. Good deal huh? Too bad, only for staff. Heh.

Then dinner was at Bugis's Sketches.

"Grilled beef steak (air flown) & king prawn drizzled with forest mushroom sauce on a bed of roast potato & garden greens"

Dessert: Tiramisu
Yummy-licious dinner~
But I'm 30 bucks poorer.

life is fragile *

Few days ago, Edmund (my hairstylist) sms-ed me.
I thought he wanna inform me that Kimage is going to have some promotions soon, but I was totally wrong.

Edmund: Do you know what had happened to Hazel?
Me: Nope, didn't contact her for months. What happened?
Edmund: She just passed away last Saturday.

Yes, I was super shocked. The moment I reached home, I logged into Les Dames, and saw this thread, "Rest in Peace Hazel". Then I found out that it's all because of a viral infection.
She fell into coma after suffering from a high fever, which then led to internal bleeding and a critically low immune system.

This incident somehow reminds me of my mother. All because of high fever, which had led to internal bleeding, then brain dead. It was so sudden, everyone wasn't prepared, there isn't any last words. It sounds so sad and scary huh?

SO, PLEASE DO SEE A DOCTOR IF YOU'RE NOT FEELING WELL, ESPECIALLY WHEN HAVING A FEVER!

unlucky yet happy day *

A series of un~~fortunate~~lucky events happened today. But I'm not going to list down one by one, heh.

Anyway, met Alicia (my PTGF) in the noon. Our milkshake date, at Billy Bombers!
Thank you so much for the treat!

This is so sweet, HEAVENLY!
I couldn't stop smiling to myself when drinking it.
Then it was lunch with PeiLin Sweetheart, at Pizza Hut.
The service at Marina Square is good!
Cold weather, and the person gave us warm water. We didn't ask for it!

Finally I satified my craving for pizza!
SHOP SHOP SHOP!
I bought lots of stuffs, and had overspent!
A little worried when I see the amount in my bank keeps depleting.
And even more worried for not being able to take a few days leave in September.
Even though it's not a confirm trip yet (cause we haven't book our flight tickets and stuffs), it's definitely not a say-say-only thing!

I'm really serious about it, I even read up the near 80 pages of information on Taiwan at Les Dames (the forum I frequent), spent hours in tidying up those useful but kinda repeating information/tips, headed to Taiwan Visitors Association (Singapore Office) at Shenton Way there to get the maps and guides, and keep going to Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways and Jetstar Asia to stimulate the timing and price.

I don't want my effort to go into the drain!
FengLing, let's pray hard that we can take leave! Haha!

Anyway, bought this Konnyaku drink at Mos Burger.
Tried the Peach one, not too bad, but I don't fancy it.
Another cute bottle, haha!

dilemma *

I had a chat with stepmom just now.

In an indirect way, I've told her, I don't dislike her, in fact I quite like her.

Don't worry people, she's totally opposite from Cinderalla's stepmummy. She is really nice.

However, I'll have a sense of guilt if I treat her too nice. Perhaps it's because of mummy?

Tsk! How ah how? 6 months has passed, I'm still in dilemma.

Graduation! *

Part 1 - Graduation 2008

28th May 2008 marks the end of my poly's life. I guess I've made a right decision to study in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, it's probably the best teritary education I can get. The people I've met, the knowledge I've acquired, the projects that I ended up with sleepless nights, the examinations that almost drove me crazy, etc. Bits and pieces, many lessons learnt, I've really grown up!

It's great to see almost everyone again, wearing the dark blue and yellow graduation robe, waiting to go up on stage to collect our scroll. We do look like the students of Hogwarts. Heh.

To my dad and stepmom, thanks for coming down! I know the ceremony was kinda boring, but I'm really glad that both of you attended. But it's a pity that sis didn't attend, cause she just came back from Cambodia.

This is totally random! But somehow there's a little similarity. JiaWei is enlisting on 12th September, which is one day after my birthday. While JunHao is enlisting on 16th September, one day after PeiLin's birthday. Coincidentally, all my good guy friends (excluding YeowKwang, he is exempted) are enlisting in September 2008, with Marcus' on 12th too, and JunHan's one on the 9th.

Part 2 - Dinner at Shokudo

These are the people who went for the post-grad dinner at Raffles City.
Part 3 - 5 of us

Right after dinner, the rest went home except the 5 of us.
Initial plan was to have our ~~usual~~ chilling session at Marina Square's McDonalds, the place where our butt will be glued to the seat. Too bad, they closing soon. And after much hestitation, we bus-ed down to JunHan's house. No no, not staying over, he just went back to take his family's car.

1. Drove over to HweeKeng's place to take back JunHan's father's camera.

2. Sightseeing at the Red Light District (Geylang)! *cough* JunHan knows that place quite well! *cough* And an unexpected thing happened..

JunHan: "Hey, that's my neighbour's car!"
All of us just laughed out loud.

3. Drove over to Rochor to get some soyabean before heading to Mount Faber.

4. Passed by the 99 devils bend, wanted to go West Coast's McDonalds but we not sure of the way there, so we went to Taman Jurong's McDonalds instead.

Nope, we never bowl.

Witnessed them setting up for the new promotion.
5. HOME SWEET HOME! At 4am, heh.

Jurong -> Bukit Panjang -> Bukit Merah -> Serangoon

I still wanna hang out like this.
