another week gone *

Hihi~ I'm back!

10th November 2008 (Monday)

Can't believe I fell sick again. KNS.
Doctor said it's viral infection and gave me 2 days MC.
Was afraid that I might just leave this world anytime, cause of this: terrifying news.

Super zzz can, looking at the number of MC I've taken, I'm very worried the company will extend my probation. Argh! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

11th November 2008 (Tuesday)

Recovering fast, so I decided to visit my mother.
I miss her.

14th November 2008 (Friday)

Finally back to my training branch! Super happy to see the both of them!

Received a surprise gift from R: Nintendo DS Lite (metallic rose).
I accepted it with a condition. Thanks but sorry.

16th November 2008 (Sunday)

I'm like coughing my lungs out. Went to see a doctor again to get a stronger cough medicine.

But before that, I met Jere for dinner.

Yay! Sweetheart's xmas gift settled.

Darling says I don't look like I'm unwell, cause I keep jumping around. LOL!

she touches my heart *

My agenda for today:

Paragon's M1 with papa to activate my auto-roam thingy
A date with my part-time-girl-friend

Both accomplished, despite waking up with a runny nose.

When I met PTGF, I was like "OMG! She's giving me balloons, and I'm gonna walk around town with that, so embarassing la!"

Actually it isn't that bad la, just a little troublesome when we board the bus.

Our date:

1. Had our lunch at Centrepoint's Sumi.

I like their yakitori! Wide varieties, nicer than Tori Q I find.

Was asked to pose this, fugly I know, but doesn't matter, cause this made my PTGF laugh.

2. SNIP SNIP SNIP!

Yup, I went to cut my hair again. Much shorter this time round.
And right after cutting, I sorta regretted. Should have perm my hair instead, grr.

Can you see that I'm like dying? The flu is killing me la!

3. High tea at The Central.

Cookie monster cupcake! It's yummy-licious! I want more!

I actually dropped the first one, but the nice staff replaced another one for us. This explains why I made my wishes twice. Well, I'm not greedy, all my wishes are the same. =)

Couldn't take it anymore, cabbed back to see a doctor.
Lastly, I shall end this entry with medicine.

body weak but heart strong *

HELLO! Yours truly is back!

Last Saturday, dimsum (or timsum, up to you) buffet at Dragon Gate Restaurant..

A simple outfit with my favourite cardigan.

Situated at level 4 of HarbourFront Centre.
I received a treasure map the night before, so I've no problems when locating this restaurant!

More pok pok choy for me.

I hate spring onions, but sis loves it.
And this whole week was a little zzz.

Monday - As usual, work! But my throat almost killed me.

Tuesday - Training. It feels great to see all my training mates again. But at night I was down with fever. Lucky Cashew Medical is one of the panel doctors, so yeah, I do not have to pay for it.

Wednesday - MC.

Thursday - Worked for less than 2 hours, then I realised I haven't recover yet, so I went to see doctor and get another MC.

Friday - Work. I really love my job!

Anyway, I've already took 3 MCs this month. That's really bad lor, tsk.

Alright, that's about it. Shall have my lunch now.

hectic *

I guess it's about time for a proper update. Sorry ah, was really busy.

Started my first permanent job on 9th June. First 3 weeks are training, oh man, it's really hectic okay! 8 certification tests, which include 1 role-play.
But so far so good la, Good Luck Candy still works.

First day (9th June), the ladies had a grooming workshop by Shiseido.

After removing our makeup, I do look pale huh?

And after the workshop, I guess my sensitive skin don't like their products.
Friday the 13th

Luckily, nothing bad happen.
Had dinner with FengLing after the training.

I love their desserts!
14th June
Bus-ed down to JiaWei's area, met up, "visited" my training branch nearby, and had lunch at Jurong Point's Pizza Hut.

Shared 2 pizzas, we sure can eat a lot!

Thank you very much for those giftsss from Taiwan! =)
Remember to get moolah from me hor, for the BB cream.

For god-knows-why reason again, my gastric flu is back. Damn it!
Some possible reasons:
- My immune system is really low;
- Stress, due to those certification tests;
- Irregular mealtime;
- My mood, cause I've been thinking too much;
- My retribution for being ___________.

unbearable pain *

My agenda for today:

Do some spring cleanings
DIY manicure and pedicure

But none of them is done.
It's not because I'm feeling lazy or what, it's merely because my back pain is back again!

Super sharp pain I tell you! And it's my whole back, especially my waist area, that I can't even stand and sit. So I've been lying on my bed since morning. Tears automatically flow down my cheeks when I get up to use the toilet. And I've to wipe my tears away and psycho-ed myself by saying, "YiShi is a strong girl!"

Thus, the only things I did today were blogging, chatting, forum-ing, friendster-ing, and wiki-ing.

Wiki-ing started when I asked a simple question:
"What's the difference between octopus and squid?"

yesterday *

woke up with a runny nose. =(
and i passed it to jiawei when we met up.
sorry! but well, good friends share woes right? heh.

i love-hate this LAZY Smurf tee.
love it cause it's really cute.
hate it cause it's tight-fitting, i've to suck in my tummy.

a clearer view of the tee:

first stop was at Queensway.
jiawei had his lunch at McD and i had their McFlurry (with extra oreo).
then we walked around to check out some stuffs.

we decided to postpone our plan to next week, cause of the killer weather.

then off we went to Vivo, cause we wanted to have some thick toast.

it was my second time there, and i ordered the same thing.

took some photos while waiting for our orders..

here's my drink:

not too bad. it will be better if it's more chilled.

this is good! i prefer this.
"My drink was fab! It was packed with the awesome mango sweetness. It was thick and fruity just the way it should be."

sounds so good yeah?

the beef is tender, but i find beef with bread is a bit weird.

actually, jiawei wanted it with egg, but somehow he checked the item wrongly. LOL!

i love this cause i've sweet tooth.

kinda hard to cut, so, heh. =P

it's so much easier to eat it this way.
alright. after which we spent a good 2 hours inside Daiso.
is banana chips a healthy snack?

i regretted not getting more. haha!
well, this packet of banana chips sort of save us while we queueing up for taxi.

next stop: town.

walked around, nothing much. bought some miscellaneous stuffs though.

dinner time! we bus-ed to Suntec.
wanted to try KushinBo, but the queue was really long.

somehow we were spoilt for choices.
both of us had a hard time choosing what to eat.
and finally, we decided to settle down at Secret Recipe.

as usual, cam-whoring time!

kinda sad, cause i was still down with flu.
i "requested" for a sad face, this is what he gave:

i tried to imitate him, but well, i failed..

quite badly huh? haha!

our orders..

plain water.
yishi: "we can blog about how healthy we are! cause we ordered plain water!"
jiawei: "no, it's because we are too poor for other drinks!"

here's my dinner:

delicious! i've no words to describe this, so i shall quote from jiawei's blog again.

"It was real lovely. The fish was sweet and soft, you could taste the huo wei from the pan."

the complimentary mushroom soup:

cause they need some time to defroze the chicken, thus they gave us the mushroom soup to drink while waiting.

well, jiawei's order came not long after the soup was served. less than 5 minutes i think.

boneless chicken chop stuffed with chicken ham and cheese.

we actually waited for like near 35 minutes without realising the long waiting time. haha!

back to the chicken, haha, the chicken with ham and cheese is nice, but the skin was quite hard.

thus, i still prefer the dory fish.
